Rumor: Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake ‘Not Too Far’

We are all just waiting for the big announcement.

It seems we should expect that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag remake it soon.

Shinobi602 had this to say about the rumored title:

Wouldn’t say they ‘hold it in’. There’s a reveal and a release set, it’s just not the time yet. Not too far.

He responded to speculation that the game might appear at a State of Play event rumored to be held this week.

We have been hearing for some time that a Assassin’s Creed Black Flag a remake has been in the works for some time. It seems like part of this is to help give work to Ubisoft Singapore, but it’s also one that fans are really looking forward to.

We recently covered the trademark Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. The name has a PEGI rating, and the website domain has also been registered.

If Ubisoft hasn’t announced it this year, they may be planning on releasing it closer to the second half of 2026. We could see it appear in the biggest month for video game announcements, June, FKA being the month of E3.
