“What starts as a short -term responsibility soon becomes a sincere desire.
“I found how I enjoy the structure, attention to the details and critical nature of the payroll.
“Since then, I know that is the right way for me, and now I can’t imagine doing anything else.”
Q: Can you tell us a little about your role and what you do every day?
“As a client’s payroll executive, I am responsible for managing and processing more than 40 payers every month, especially for the GP practice but also supporting various other types of clients.
“My role involves overseeing the full payroll cycle, from initial data input to final processing and reporting.
“This includes verifying employee tax codes, accurately calculating pro average payments for beginners/graduates and ensuring pension contributions are applied correctly in accordance with client specifications and legal requirements.
“I am also responsible for maintaining strict compliance with GDPR, HMRC regulations, automatic registration pension regulations and broader work laws.”
Q: Is there a general misunderstanding about the payroll outsourcing that you want to delete?
“One of the general misunderstandings about payroll outsourcing is that it is as simple as pressing the button and the payroll runs by itself.
“In reality, there is a large number of work that occurs behind the scenes.
