In this edition, I feel happy to meet with Kristen Mishler, a senior payroll analyst.

Q: What makes you pursue a career on the salary list?

“I took a job at the call center to do telephone support for accounting software, and the first module I learned was a payroll.

“I like people and puzzles, so the payroll is perfect for me.

“One thing that really attracts me when I take a job with MyPay Solutions is that I will have a group of dedicated clients.

“I like to be able to build relationships with my clients and help them.”

Q: Can you tell us a little about your role and what you do every day?

“Most of my daily tasks include communicating with my clients.

“Clients will reach by telephone or email, and I will answer their questions and solve their problems.

“I also process payroll to my clients because they send it every day.

“I always say the most important part of my job is to make sure employees are paid properly and on time.”

Q: Is there a general misunderstanding about the payroll outsourcing that you want to delete?

“Disagreement may feel like you lose control of your payroll, but our clients still have access to their payroll items and the reporting they need.

“The purpose of outsourcing is to flow the process.

“Clients do not need to worry about the tax form or make and send payments to select vendors.

“This can be a huge time saver and allow them to focus on other fields of their business.”

Q: What are the suggestions you will give businesses that consider their payroll outsourcing?

“Communication with your payroll company is key, especially if there is something that changes with your payroll, such as adding insurance or 401 (K).

“Most items can be easily accommodated, we only need to find out.”

Q: How does technology play a role in streamlining payroll?

“Technology is completely streamlining every aspect of payroll.

“Software calculates income, taxes, and making reports easily.”

Q: What do you think distinguish your team or service from other people in this industry?

“Our customer service really distinguishes us.

“Instead of reaching and getting different people every time, you will have someone who knows your business and can easily help you with what you need.

“Other services have a general queue, and if someone needs to call several times about a problem, they can talk to some people.
