Where to find Camel Husks and install them in the latest Minecraft patch.
List of contents[Hide][Show]
Chaos Mountain brings back the unique double seater, with a not-so-new coat of paint. Tromping through the desert, Minecraft welcoming undead variants to Camel, Camel Skin. Unfortunately, you’ll also encounter a new enemy that sits in the background behind the terrifying Husk, named that Dry. Another enemy that lives in the desert, once paired with the Husk, the two can create a deadly combo. Here’s everything you want to know about this towering seat, and its new back seat.
Where can I find Camel Leather?
The only spawning biome Camel Husk is in Desert, at night or at that time thunderstorm. But it won’t be as easy as running and taming it, as this humpbacked horse only appears when ridden by the aforementioned. Husk And Dry. This terrifying duo paired with Camel Skin is known as Camel Husk Jockey. They will use the new one Spear too, so be prepared to fight if you want to secure this mount.
Do I need to tame Camel Skin?
Luckily not! Similar to the live variant, all you need to do is put the saddle on the Camel Skin and it’s ready to ride. The only difference you will encounter is having to defeat Husk and Parched to stand a chance.
But if you need to know how to lead Camel Husk, or how to cure it, your only option is a Rabbit’s Foot. This can be obtained by killing a Rabbit, which has a 10% chance of dropping one, or you might even be lucky enough that the Husk you’re fighting may drop one. This has a 50% chance, but is only temporary riding a Camel Husk.
Riding Camel Skin
Once you’ve mounted your stately, and perhaps slightly rancid, new steed, riding it is similar to its fresher counterpart. Accommodating you and your adventure buddy, the Camel Husk can carry up to 2 players.
Strong
Located atop the Camel Husk, the experience bar at the bottom will be replaced with a charging bar on the dashboard. To use a hyphen, press the jump control or hold control jump to run further.

Now that we’ve learned about Camel Skin, let’s turn our attention to the new enemy introduced and what it has to offer. That Dry.
Where does Parched appear?
Parched, the same as Camel Husk, only appears in Desert biome, and only at night. Similar to Skeletons, Parched spawns always hold a bow, and sometimes appear wearing armor. These mobs tend not to appear alone, tend to appear in groups of 4 people.
Parched also has a 10% chance of appearing behind a Camel Skin. Paired with the Husk in front of the humped creature, the whole thing creates a Camel Husk Jockey. Be careful if you encounter this duo, as the Husk will use another new update item, an Iron Spear. This item has a longer range than other weapons, putting players at a greater disadvantage when combined with the difficulty of hitting any camel skin riders.
Difference
Both Camel Husk and Parched have new mechanics that differentiate them from other undead monsters. Neither creature burnt in the sun. This is an advantage for the Camel Husk, because unlike other undead mounts, the Camel and Camel Huck do not have slots for armor to prevent burning. Meanwhile, this attribute is not so good for players against Parched. No need to wait until morning for this enemy!
Dead or alive, both Camel Husk and the new Parched are interesting additions to an already enjoyable game. Good luck to all the players out there in getting your new horse across the desert!
