99 Nights in the Forest, first introduced in early 2025 has attracted the interest of many Roblox players. How come? Ghosts, fear and survival, this is a game that can get your blood pumping. Another aspect of the game is exploring different areas in the game such as Forest Biomes, Snow Biomes, Volcanic Biomes and Caves. In one of these areas there is a special item, namely Totem Sacrifice. Let’s explore what it is and what it does.

What is a Sacrifice Totem?

As the name suggests, this human-shaped straw can be used as a… sacrificial costs. If you don’t know what this has to do with the game, let me explain. In the Volcanic Biome, if the player’s campfire has reached at least level 4, you can find a Volcano. This structure is unique, as much as the player can do sacrificing the enemy’s corpse they had fought in the volcano. Sacrifice a certain amount, 8, will reward the player with the creation of a certain item that appears on a stone table in the room.

Sacrificing 8 the first time will give Three Jewels Cult,.

The next set will give One Forest Gem Fragment.

And the third time will give you one Hell Arrow or Hell Sword.

So, you can see that having enough remains to feed a volcano could be a challenge. That’s where it is Totem Sacrifice come play. This item functions as Two sacrifices. Buy one get one type of flavor. This is only used in games, but it is very helpful.

Where can I find the Totem of Sacrifice?

Finding it is as easy as exploring it Volcanic Biome. Found hidden only in Hot Chest in biomes.

What do I use the Sacrificial Totem for?

As previously explored, you use these to spawn the aforementioned items, which you can use for various purposes.

For Cult GemsThis can be used in creating level 4 craft bench, which in turn allows players to create level 4 structures for their base to help store items or fortify, along with other important structures that help players defend against enemies that come in the dark and scary night.

Another use of this mysterious red and black gem is for summoning Cult Kinghostile boss entity. Fighting and defeating these enemies can yield quite good loot, including items as mentioned previously Hell Sword, or Hell Arrow. Apart from dropping some items, this boss corpse acts like a Sacrificial Totem, counting as 2 attacks. So lift the heavy carcass into the lava below!

Other important items listed are a Forest Gem Fragment. It is also a crafting material like cult gems, it can be used to craft level 5 instead Craft Benchone level higher than those using Cult Gems, but don’t let that take away from their usefulness, as they come back into play with level 5 artificial structures. Very important structures as Weather Machine, Temporal AccelerometerAnd Respawn Capsules. All three are invaluable to players, being able to stop rain and thunderstorms for several days, speed up in-game time to pass a night, and finally, to brings back recently dead players automatically. These three structures require Cult Gems to activate it, so being able to get it reliably will be beneficial for players in helping to complete the game faster.

Even though this item only has one purpose, it is quite good. It is highly recommended that even if you happen to come across one of these volcanoes before you find one, just keep it because it will come in handy in the end!
