Roblox: How to Delete Chat

Want to play quietly? Maybe fishing and staring at the sunset, without anyone trying to block your ears? Here’s how.

Roblox may not be known as the most peaceful platform, with a number of games on the site giving off a more chaotic and colorful feel, leading most people to consider it “brainrot”. But look further and you will find many games with which you can relax and spend hours alone. Unfortunately there are some less fun players out there who will “beg” when you are just trying to play the game. On the other hand, fortunately, you can do something about it. And no, we don’t mean to bully them. You can disable chat! Here’s how.

How to delete chat?

The way I will show you is to use a computer to carry out this process.

• Log in to your account on the Roblox Website
• Click the gear icon in the top right corner and then “arrangement”
• Go to Privacy & Content Restrictions
• Click Communication
• Choose Chat Experience
• Once there, press the toggle button below it Chat Experience to disable viewing of conversations taking place within the server.
• You can also toggle under it Live Chat to disable players from sending you direct messages, or “whispering” to you on the server.
• Once clicked, a popup will appear in the green text box stating that your settings have been updated.

If you open Roblox in another tab or on your console, be sure to close it and reopen it to give the settings a chance to refresh and update.

How to Delete Chats in Apps

Deleting chats using an app on your phone isn’t much different, but we’ll show you how to navigate to the same settings below.

• Open the Roblox app on your phone
• Look at the bottom of the screen to see the taskbar Home, Chart, Avatar, Party, And Again.
• Click Again
• Scroll down and click Arrangement with a gear symbol on it.
• Go to Privacy & Content Restrictions
• Click Communication
• Choose Chat Experience
• Once there, press the toggle button below it Chat Experience to disable viewing of conversations taking place within the server.
• You can also toggle under it Live Chat to disable players from sending you direct messages, or “whispering” to you on the server.
• Once clicked, a popup will appear in the green text box stating that your settings have been updated.
