Is it time for Ubisoft to do justice to Altair’s story?
Ubisoft is reportedly finally working on a re-release that not everyone was expecting.
French YouTuber j0nathan responds to rumors from Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson. Tom heard that the company was working on a second remake Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. j0nathan claims the game was the first Assassin’s Creed.
Assassin’s Creedreleased in 2007 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, was one of the first AAAs of that generation. This helped define what AAA games would look like in the future and put Ubisoft on the path to its status as an open world gaming company.
There has been a long debate as to why Ubisoft never remade or even just re-released this game. There is speculation that technical problems made a cheap remaster impossible. Some fans also believe that it has aged poorly, especially compared to its sequel, Assassin’s Creed II.
That doesn’t explain why Ubisoft hasn’t touched on the adventures of Altair Ibn-La’Ahad across two decades and generations of consoles.
Perhaps the need now arises to make some remakes quickly, while Ubisoft considers a restructuring that will allow it to survive, but at the expense of its ability to continue making AAA.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
